| dc.description.abstract | "John Duns Scotus'da Tanrı ve Ahlâk İlişkisi"ni konu ettiğimiz çalışmamızın Giriş bölümünde, John Duns Scotus'un hayatı ve eserleri hakkında kısa bir bilgi vererek Scotus'un Ortaçağ felsefesi açısından taşıdığı öneme dikkat çekmeye çalıştık. Birinci bölümde, bölümün ana teması olan Scotus'un Tanrı anlayışı ve ilâhî sıfatlar bahsine geçmeden önce Scotus ve Hıristiyan felsefesini derinden etkilemiş olan; Scotus'un da mensup olduğu skolâstik felsefe geleneğini biçimlendiren tüm dinamikleri dikkate alarak geniş bir perspektif sunmaya çaba gösterdik. Daha sonra, Scotus'un Tanrı ve ahlâk ilişkisi bağlamında ele alınmasını gerekli gördüğümüz Tanrı'nın irade ve kudret, bilgi ve iyilik sıfatlarını tahlil edip, bu sıfatların, Scotus'un ahlâk anlayışı ile ilişkili olduğu noktalardan hareketle Scotus'un ahlâk felsefesi üzerindeki etkilerinin bir tasvirini sunarak ilk bölümü sonlandırdık. Scotus'un ahlâk anlayışını konu edindiğimiz çalışmamızın ikinci bölümünde, Scotus'un ahlâk felsefesinin doğal yasa teorisi ve ilâhî buyruk teorisi ile benzer ve farklı yönlerine değinip, düşünürümüzün bunlardan hangisine hangi konuda daha yakın olduğuna değindik. Sonuç bölümünde, Scotus'un ahlâk anlayışının genel görüşün aksine salt ilâhî buyruk teorisi olmadığını ve doğal yasa teorisinden de parçalar barındırdığını savunduk. Aynı zamanda ilk bölümde değinmiş olduğumuz ilâhî sıfatlar ile Scotus'un ahlâk anlayışı arasındaki ilişkiye dikkat çektik. Scotus'un ahlak anlayışının güçlü ve zayıf yönleri, dönemine göre başarılı ve başarısız olduğu konular ve bu çalışma bağlamında yapılanlar ve yapılmayı bekleyenlere değinerek tezimizi sonlandırıldık. | tr_TR |
| dc.description.ozet | This thesis, title of which is John Duns Scotus on God and Morality, has two chapters except for the prologue and the conclusion. In prologue, we have attempted to give a brief description of Scotus' life and works. Having these information in hand, we afterwards tried to take attention to the importance of Scotus with regard to Medieval ages. In the first chapter, before studying Scotus' conception of God and the divine attributes which is the main title of the chapter, we aimed to give a detailed background about the dynamics which we thought to have influenced Scotus, his philosophy and the Christian philosophy profoundly. Afterwards we came to an end by going around the divine attributes such as divine will, omnipotence, omniscience and absolute goodness in terms of their relation to morality according to Scotus. In the second chapter in which we mentioned the details of Scotus' theories of morality, especially to the parts of his theory which we think to be similar to or different from natural law theory and divine command theory. In the conclusion, we have defended the idea that Scotus, counter intuitively, is not a pure divine command theorist and his theory bears some parts which pertain to natural law theory. In this chapter, we also aimed to take attention to the relationship between divine attributes and morality from the viewpoint of Scotus. We came to the conclusion of this study by refering to the strenghts and weaknesses of Scotus' theory, his success and failures with regard to his era. | tr_TR |
