Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the evaluation of primary school teachers about physical education lessons of primary school education in Uşak, Karahallı. Totally 72 primary school teachers (48 man, 24 women) from all primary schools in Uşak, Karahallı participated in this study. The attitude scale about physical education classes in primary education schools was given to the teacher. The attitude scale about aim of the physical education classes and benefits of the physical education classes was given to the teachers. The data obtained from the scales have been explained and interpreted with numbers and percentages mean standard deviation. The gathering data were interpreted Independent sample t test ,one way anova and post hoc test. Results of the research have been used in comparisons and alpha level of 0,05 were set for Statistical significance in all analysisBased on the results of this investigation, it can be seen that, physical education is very important in fitness and physical development, in acquiring the habit of making sports regularly and moreover it is very important in decreasing stress and anxiety and feeling ease and relax. As a result, itcan be ststed that physical education classes must take part in the curriculum. it is determined that, there are some differences in the opinions of teachers that are related with gender, age, experience and graduated high school.Key Words: Physical Education and Sport, Primary Education, The Physical Education Classes and evaluation
