| dc.description.abstract | The objective of this study is to reveal how the non ? Muslim minorities have been represented in the films by Ms. Tomris Giritlioglu. As the non ? Muslim minorities are in the focus of the examination, the concept of minorities has been stressed out in the first chapter of this study, and the identity formation has been examined by considering the social psychological and sociological studies. Subsequently, the legal arrangements concerning the birth of minority concept, and minority rights together with the nation states have been examined. The fact that the focus of this study is based upon the non ? Muslim minorities within the borders of Turkey enables the discussion of transformations and rights of minorities from Ottoman to Turkish Republic, and three tragedies of the three films in the focus of this study have been discussed.In the second chapter of this study, the analysis of non ? Muslim minorities by Ms. Tomris Giritlioglu with a sociological point of view by considering the discussion and cases of the first chapter has been carried out. In these analysis, the tragedies of the non ? Muslim minorities in Turkey and the status of the non ? Muslims within these cases, and how the relations of non ? Muslims with Islamic Turks have been affected have been examined. With the analysis by Ms. Giritlioglu, the non ? Muslim minorities and how they are related and nonrelated to the dominant structure have tried to be discussed and determined, and a deduction of the representation of non ? Muslim minorities has been requested to be found out in the cinema by Ms. Giritlioglu, as well. | tr_TR |
| dc.description.ozet | Bu çalışmada Tomris Giritlioğlu sinemasında gayrimüslim azınlıkların nasıl temsil edildiği incelenmiştir. İncelemenin odağında gayrimüslim azınlıklar olması nedeniyle çalışmanın birinci bölümünde azınlık kavramı üzerinde durulmuş, sosyal psikolojik ve sosyolojik çalışmalar göz önüne alınarak kavramın öncesi tartışılarak kimlik oluşumuna değinilmiştir. Sonrasında ulus devletlerin ortaya çıkışıyla birlikte azınlık kavramının doğuşu ve azınlık haklarının korunmasına ilişkin yapılan hukuki düzenlemeler incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın temelini Türkiye'deki gayrimüslim azınlıkların oluşturması nedeniyle de Osmanlı'dan Türkiye'ye azınlıkların değişen konumları ve hakları tartışılarak, çalışmanın odağındaki üç filmin işaret ettiği gayrimüslim azınlıkların yaşadığı üç trajik olay tartışılmıştır.Çalışmanın ikinci bölümünde ise birinci bölümdeki tartışmalar ve olaylardan yola çıkarak sosyolojik bir bakış açısıyla Tomris Giritlioğlu'nun gayrimüslim azınlıklar üçlemesinin analizi yapılmıştır. Analizlerde, Türkiye'de gayrimüslim azınlıkların yaşadığı trajik olayların ve bu olaylar içerisinde gayrimüslimlerin konumları ile Müslüman-Türklerle ilişkilerinin sinemadan nasıl aktarıldığı incelenmiştir. Giritlioğlu'nun üçlemesinin analiziyle gayrimüslim azınlıklar konusundaki söylemi tartışılıp, egemen söylemle birleşip ayrıldığı noktalar saptanarak Giritlioğlu sinemasında gayrimüslim azınlıkların temsiline ilişkin bir çıkarımda bulunmak amaçlanmıştır. | tr_TR |
