| dc.description.abstract | Integrated systems and query languages which developed parallel to information technology have provided a wide horizon for the organizations. They offered comprehensive facilities at a variety of levels which include executing operations, management, and decision steps. Information centers, also, took place among those organizations which were effected by this improvement. In traditional sense, understanding based on bibliographical control and retrieval has changed with the database management systems. Especially, database management systems based on relational model offered user a comprehensive, complex and combination of existing information and new techniques concerning semantic data modelling currently became available in design procedures. Soon it is accepted that system design is quite important. Besides this, information center and information specilist, concepts were to be revieved once more. According to this increasing curve of advancement database management system is examined in structural, operational and historical aspects. Design techniques which involve logical formation of system is examined and one of these techniques is adapted to one of library operations. The information specilist whose main responsibility is to establish a mutual connection between user and information has taken over a very important role at design stage and this is proved indirectly in this work. | tr_TR |
| dc.description.ozet | Enformasyon teknolojisine paralel olarak gelişen bütünleşik sistemler ve sorgulama dilleri kuruluşlarına yeni ufuklar açtılar. İşlemlerin yürütülmesinden yönetime ve karar düzeyine kadar her aşamada ve her konuda insanlara büyük olanaklar sundular. Bilgi merkezleri de bu gelişimden etkilenen kuruluşlar arasında yeraldı. Geleneksel anlamda bibliyografik denetim ve erişim etkinliğini temel anları anlayış veritabanı yönetim sistemleri ile değişime uğradı. Özellikle kapsamlı, karmaşık bilgi bileşimlerini kullanıcıya sunabilen ilişkisel modele dayalı veritabanı yönetim sistemleri ve modelin oluşumunda kullanılan yeni teknikler gündeme geldi. Sistem oluşumunda tasarımın önemi anlaşıldı. Bu bağlamda bilgi merkezi ve bilgi uzmanı kavramlarım yeniden gözden geçirmek gerekti. Bu çizgisel gelişim doğrultusunda çalışmada veritabanı yönetim sistemi yapı, işleyiş, tarihsel gelişim açısından ele alındı. Sistemin mantıksal oluşumunu gerçekleştiren tasarım teknikleri incelenerek bu tekniklerden biri bir kütüphane işlemine uyarlandı. Görevi bilgi ile kullanıcı arasında köprü kurmak olan bilgi uzmanının tasarım aşamasında nedenli önemli bir rol üstlendiği dolaylı yoldan bu çalışma ile ortaya kondu. | tr_TR |
