| dc.description.abstract | "Erken Dönem Hıristiyanlığında Din- Sanat İlişkisi" başlıklı bu tez, giriş, üç bölüm ve kaynakçadan oluşmaktadır. Giriş kısmında, tezin konusuna dair kısa bir giriş yapılmış, bununla birlikte, tezin önemi, amacı, metodu, kapsam ve sınırları belirtilmiştir. Tezin birinci bölümünde, Din ve Sanat fenomenleri önce tek tek ele alınarak iki bilim dalı ayrı ayrı incelenmiş, ardından din ve sanat başlığı altında bu iki fenomenin kronolojik olarak insanlığın başlangıcından itibaren birbiriyle ilişkisi incelenmiştir. Tezin ikinci bölümünde, ilk bölümdeki aktarılanlardan hareketle, erken dönem Hıristiyanlığında İkonoklazm (726) hareketine kadarki din-sanat ilişkisi, resim, heykel, mimari gibi görsel sanatlar bağlamında araştırılmıştır. İlk olarak, Hıristiyanlığın meşru bir din olmadan önceki (313 öncesi) dönemi ele alınmıştır. Sonrasında erken Hıristiyan sanatı, I. Konstantin ve I. Justinianus dönemleri esas alınarak kategorize edilmiştir. Bununla birlikte coğrafi bütünlük sağlamak adına, ana akım kiliseden ilk ayrılan Doğu kiliselerindeki din anlayışının sanat anlayışındaki etkisi dikkate alınarak incelenmiştir. Tezin son bölümünde ise, Hıristiyanlık tarihinde, sanata dair en önemli olaylardan biri olan İkonoklazm hareketiyle bizzat ilişkili olması sebebiyle, erken dönem Hıristiyan resim sanatı müstakil olarak ele alınmıştır. Tanrı, İsa, Meryem, Aziz, Melek resimleri ve bu resimlerin Hıristiyanlar için erken dönemde neleri ifade ettiği araştırılmıştır. Bu incelemeler neticesinde sanatın (bilhassa resimler/heykeller) dindeki kullanılış biçimlerinin yol açtığı fikir ayrılıkları araştırılmış, bu tartışmaların somut neticelerini gösterdiği ikonoklazm hareketi incelenmiştir. | tr_TR |
| dc.description.ozet | This thesis, titled "The Relationship betweet Religion and Art in Early Christianity", consists of an introduction, three chapters and a bibliography. In the introduction part, a brief introduction to the subject of the thesis was made, and the methodology of the thesis were stated. In the first part of the thesis, the phenomena of Religion and Art were first examined one by one and the two branches of science were examined separately, and then, under the title of religion and art, the relationship of these two phenomena with each other from the beginning of humanity was examined chronologically. In the second part of the thesis, the relationship between religion and art in the early period Christianity until the Iconoclasm (726) movement was investigated in the context of visual arts such as painting, sculpture and architecture, based on what was cited in the first part. First, the period before Christianity became a legitimate religion (before 313) is discussed. Afterwards, early Christian art was categorized based on the periods of Constantine I and Justinian I. However, in order to provide geographical integrity, the effect of the understanding of religion in the Eastern churches, which first separated from the mainstream church, on the understanding of art was examined. In the last part, the early Christian painting art is handled independently, as it is directly related to the Iconoclasm movement, which is one of the most important artistic events in the history of Christianity. God, Jesus, Mary, Saint, Angel pictures and what these pictures mean to Christians in the early period are researched. As a result of these studies, the differences of opinion caused by the use of art (especially paintings/sculptures) in religion were investigated, and the iconoclasm movement, was examined. | tr_TR |
