Abstract
This thesis consists of three chapters.The first chapter is devoted to the introduction.In the second chapter, some definitions and theorems which are necessary for spectral analysis are given.In the third chapter, the spectral analysis of singular dissipative boundary-value problem with a spectral parameter in the boundary condition is established. While such an analysis is done, Lax-Phillips scattering theory and Sz.-Nagy-Foiaş dilation theory are used. Using the equivalence of this theories, the functional model of the maximal dissipative operator is formed and with the help of the characteristic function of this model, it is shown that the systems of the eigenvectors and associated vectors in the space where they are defined form the complete system.
