dc.description.abstractBu tez Tom Stoppard'ın Rosencrantz ve Guildenstern Öldüler metninin sahneleme çalışması olarak ampirik bir niteliğe sahiptir. Oyunun sahnelenmesi sürecinde yapılan bütün kuramsal ve kılgısal çalışmaların detaylı şekilde derlenmesiyle oluşturulmuştur. Postmodernist tavrıyla bilinen Tom Stoppard'ın birçok oyunundaki gibi tiyatro metni üretirken, bir strateji olarak kullandığı metinlerarasılık anlayışının ne olduğunu ve Rosencrantz ve Guildenstern Öldüler'de nasıl kullanıldığını çözümlemeye yönelik bir çalışmadır. Ayrıca, bu çözümlemelerin sahnelenen oyunun yorumlanmasına nasıl etkide bulunduğu gösterilmektedir. This thesis has an empirical character in that it is based on a staging of Tom Stoppard's play "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead". It consists of a detailed compilation of all the theoretical and practical work conducted in the process of staging the play. The aim of this study is to analyze the notion of intertextuality employed as a textual strategy as in many other plays of Tom Stoppard, known for his postmodernist attitude, and how this notion is used in "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead". Furthermore, how these analyses have influenced the interpretation of the staged play is also shown.tr_TR
