In order to bring an end to this conflict, Atatürk and the administrators of the republican period announced the "Tevhid-i Tedrisat" lavs on 3 March 1924. The aim of these laws was to educate a generation sharing the same feeling and ideas by being in solidarity of each other. Furthermore, according to the 4 item of this law, the education of religion became systematic. In respect to this item, with the intention of biringing up high religious experts, the "Daru'1-fünun Faculty of Theology" in Istanbul and for the execution of religious leaders and oratory, secondary schools for the training of the Islamic religion were opened, hi this way, the religious training was started to be executed on a scientific level. However, because of the difference of comments on the "Tevhid-i Tedrisat" laws, mis execution of religious education was brought to an end.
