| dc.description.abstract | Çalışmamızda IV. ve V. yüzyıllarda düzenlenen dört ekümenik konsilde alınan kararlarda siyasi otoritenin etkisini ele aldık. Hıristiyanlık tarihi açısından son derece önemli olan bu dört ekümenik konsili konu alan çalışmalar yapılmış olsa da, anılan yüzyıllarda düzenlenen konsillerde alınan kararları siyasi otoritenin etkisi perspektifinden ele almanın dinler tarihine katkıda bulunacağı düşüncesi bizi bu çalışmaya teşvik etmiştir. Yahudilik içerisinden çıkarak yeni bir din haline gelen Hıristiyanlık, Roma İmparatoru I. Constantinus'un IV. yüzyılın başlarında yayınladığı Milan Fermanıyla özgürlüğüne kavuşmuş, aynı yüzyılın sonlarına doğru devletin resmi dini olarak kabul edilmiştir. Milan Fermanı'nın sağladığı özgürlük ortamında, o zamana kadar devletin baskısı altında olması sebebiyle gündeme gelmeyen teolojik tartışmalar gündeme gelmeye başlamış ve bu tartışmalar, meseleye devletin birliği ve bütünlüğü açısından bakan siyasi otoritenin iradesi doğrultusunda kararlar alan konsillerle çözülmeye çalışılmıştır. Esas olarak teolojik tartışmaların sonlandırılması ve çoğunluğun kabul edebileceği bir inanç formülü üzerinden din birliğinin sağlanması maksadıyla toplanan konsillere siyasi otoritenin müdahil olması, Hıristiyanlığın iman esaslarının ağırlıklı olarak siyasi otoritenin iradesi doğrultusunda oluşturulmasına ve tarihsel süreç içerisinde Kilise ile devlet arasında var olduğu düşünülen ayrımın olarak ortadan kalkmasına neden olmuştur. In our study, we have discussed the effect of the political authority on the decisions taken by the four ecumenical councils in IV. and V. centuries. Although there have been some studies whose subjects are these four ecumenical councils which are very important in respect of the history of Christianity, the opinion that holding the decisions made by the councils in the above-mentioned centuries from the point of influence of political authority may contribute to the history of religions encourages us to carry out such a study. Christianity, which has become a new religion after separating from Jewish, became free through the declaration of Milan Rescript at the beginning of IV. century by I. Constantinus, the Roman emperor, and has been recognized as the official religion of the state at the end of the same century. The theological disputes which were not on agenda up to that time due to the pressure of the state were began to arise in the freedom environment provided by the Milan Rescript and the settlement of these disputes were executed by the councils which took decisions according to the will of the political authority considering this matter with regard to the unity and integrity of the state. The fact that the political authority intervened in the councils which actually got together in order to ensure a religion unity through a belief formula that might be accepted by everyone and to terminate the theological disputes caused that the belief principles of the Christianity were generated primarily under the will of the will of the political authority and so-called distinction between the state and that the church existing throughout the history disappeared. | tr_TR |
