| dc.description.abstract | Bu tezin amacı bir metin olarak da kabul edilebilen masal uyarlamalarını, edebiyat bakış açısıyla inceleyerek yeni bir inceleme yöntemi sunmaktır. Bunun için teori kısmında öncelikle masal kavramı, masalın ortaya çıkışı ve yayılması ile ilgili teoriler ve masalın özellikleri hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Özellikle yazarı belli olmayan halk masalları ve bir yazar tarafından üretilmiş sanat masalları arasındaki farklar ortaya konmuş ve sembollerin masallar üzerindeki etkisine de değinilmiştir. Daha sonrasında edebiyat ve film ilişkisi başlığı oluşturulmuş ve masal filmi hakkında bilgiler verilmiştir. İnceleme aşamasında kullanılacak edebiyat ve görsel - işitsel inceleme yöntemleri, bunun yanı sıra Vladimir Propp ve teorisi içinde başlıklar oluşturulmuştur. Gerekli alt yapı teorik kısımda sağlandıktan sonra, inceleme kısmında Grimm Kardeşlerin son olarak 1857 yılında yazıya geçirdiği "Pamuk Prenses" masalı örnek olarak seçilmiş ve edebiyat biliminin temel inceleme aşamalarından olan kişi analizi, yer analizi, zaman analizi, sembol analizi yöntemleri ile incelenmiştir. Daha sonra aynı masalın Almanya yapımı altı farklı uyarlaması da bu yöntemlerle incelenmiş ve orijinal metin ile karşılaştırılmıştır. "Pamuk Prenses" masal metni ve uyarlamaları bir sonraki aşamada Vladimir Propp'un ortaya çıkardığı 31 fonksiyon ve masala ilişkin yedi kişi kuramı ile de incelenmiş olup, bir karşılaştırmaya gidilmiştir. Bu karşılaştırmada uyarlamalarda tamamen çıkarılan ve yeri değiştirilen fonksiyonlar olduğu belirlenmiştir. Aynı zamanda uyarlamalara, masal metninde var olmayan, ancak senaryoya Propp'un otuz bir fonksiyonu arasından eklenen ya da tamamen yeni olan fonksiyonların eklendiği de tespit edilmiştir. Böylece Propp'tan bağımsız eklenen fonksiyonlar "ek fonksiyon" olarak adlandırılmıştır. Bu inceleme sonucunda masal filminin orijinal metine ne kadar sağdık kaldığı ortaya konmuştur. Aynı zamanda kaynak metin ile uyarlama farkları belirlenmiş olup, masal için önemli özelliklerin uyarlama sürecinde ne denli değiştiği belirlenmiştir. | tr_TR |
| dc.description.ozet | The aim of this dissertation is to present a new method for analyzing fairy tale adaptations, which are considered as literary texts, with a literary perspective. Within this aim, in the theoretical background, first the concept of fairy tale, theories on the emergence and the spread of the fairy tales and basic properties of fairy tales are presented. In this part the differences between anonymous and traditional verses are revealed and the effects of symbols are indicated. After that the relation between literature and films are explained and information about fairy tale films are given. Particular titles were presented for literary and audiovisual methods to be used in the analyzing process of Vladimir Propp and his theory. After providing the necessary background information in the theoretical part, the last version (1857) of the Grimm Brothers' "Snow White", is chosen as a masterpiece and this version is analysed in terms of basic literary methods such as character, location, time and symbol analysis techniques. Next, six different adaptations of the same fairy-tale, which are German productions, were also analyzed with these methods and compared with the original text. Following this, the fairy tale text of "Snow White" and its adaptations were analysed in terms of 31 functions and seven character theories proposed by Vladimir Propp and a comparison was made among them. In this comparison, it was determined that some functions were completely removed or replaced in the adaptations. Besides, it was found that functions which do not exist in the original text, but found in the 31 functions of Propp or some completely new functions were added to the scenario. This completely new functions which were added independently of Propp's theory were named "added functions" (AF). As a result of this analysis, it has been revealed that the films adapted are adhered to the original text. Moreover, (1) the differences in adaptations between source text and adaptations are determined; (2) how specific properties for the fairy tale in adaptation procedure change are revealed. | tr_TR |
