Abstract
In this study, it has been aimed to determine the principles of exterior place design of preschool education centers. Examining the social, physical, emotional, cognitive and motor development of preschool children, it has been tried, in the modifications to be made, to distinguish children as the premier user. It has been recognized as a result of researches that preschool education and games have paramount importance in child development. Exterior place settings in preschool education institutions, the principles in respect to the characteristics and choice of plants have been checked in terms of landscape architecture and some proposals have emerged in these fields. 2003, 84 pages Key Words: Preschool education centers, playground, outdoor design, play materials.
