| dc.description.abstract | Historical conception is one of the most important subject of cultural and mental system belonging to a country. Historical conception has entered a development process from early 20th century in Turkey. Formal institutions and intellectuals were the important functions affecting this process. During the formation of modern historical conception and writing, there became important developments within the Constitutional Period. Furthermore, the basic enterprises about the development of modern history and its settlement were established in the Turkey of Atatürk. Changes, transformations and tendencies in the historical conception are examined correspondingly with the transition community to nation. In this thesis, both influences of the works belonging to Turkologists from West on Turkish historians and development phases of historical conception are studied. Also the basic charecteristics of them are explained. Historical conception didn't show a development within the limits of historical schools that had philosophical qualities in Turkey unlike West. Thus, historical conception in Turkey can be studied within the limits of formal institutions and commitees, also the works of intellectuals. The general tendencies of history can be identified according to this wiev and modernism movements. Within the limits of the approach mentioned above, historical conception of institutions and committees, interested in historical writing in the Second Constitutional Period, the Independence War and Turkish Republic like TheX)ttoman Historical Society and The Turkish Historical Society and historical understanding of Ahmet Refik Altinay and Mehmet Fuat Köprülü are tried to be analyzied. Moreover, the subjects like classification, arranging and publication of archieves related to historical conception and writing are studied. In this study, we deal with how historical conception is reflected in historical textbooks and its influences on historical teaching in Turkey. vn | tr_TR |
| dc.description.ozet | Tarih anlayışı, bir ülkenin kültür ve düşünce hayatının önemli konularından birisidir. Türkiye'de tarih anlayışı, 20. yüzyılın başlarından itibaren modern bir gelişim sürecine girmiştir. Bu süreçte, resmi kurum ve kurullar ile düşünce adamlarının önemli işlevleri olmuştur. Ülkemizde modern tarih anlayışının ve tarih yazımının oluşumunda II. Meşrutiyet döneminde dikkate değer gelişmeler olmakla birlikte, modern tarihçiliğin gelişimi ve yerleşmesi açısından temel atılımlar Atatürk Türkiyesi'nde gerçekleşmiştir. Ülkemizde tarih anlayışında değişimler, dönüşümler ve yönelimler ümmetten millete geçiş süreciyle etkileşim içinde incelenmiştir. Tezimizde, Batılı Türkologların eserlerinin Türk tarihçileri üzerindeki etkilerinin yanı sıra Avrupa'da ve Türkiye'de tarihsel düşüncenin gelişim evreleri de incelenerek temel özellikleri açıklanmıştır. Türkiye'de tarih anlayışı, Batıdaki gibi felsefi nitelikli tarih ekolleri çerçevesinde bir gelişim göstermemiştir. Bu nedenle, Türkiye'de tarih anlayışı, çoğunlukla resmi kurum ve kurulların bünyesinde ve düşünce adamlarının çalışmaları çerçevesinde incelenebilir. Ülkemizde tarihçiliğin genel eğilimlerini de bu yaklaşımın yanı sıra modernleşme hareketleriyle ilişkili şekilde belirlemek mümkündür. Bu araştırmada, yukarıda açıklanan yaklaşım çerçevesinde, II. Meşrutiyet, Kurtuluş Savaşı ve Cumhuriyet dönemlerinde tarih yazımıyla ilgilenen Tarih-i Osmanî Encümeni ve Türk Tarih Kurumu gibi kurum ve kurulların tarih anlayışı ile Ahmet Refik Altınay, Mehmet Fuat Köprülü gibi tarihçilerin tarih görüşleri genel tarih anlayışı çerçevesinde analiz edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bunun yanı sıra, tarih yazımı ve tarih anlayışı ile ilişkili olarak, arşiv belgelerinin tasnifi, tanzimi ve yayını gibi konular da incelenmiştir. Bu tezimizde, Türkiye'de tarih anlayışının ders kitaplarına yansıması ve tarih öğretimi üzerindeki etkileri de irdelenmiştir. | tr_TR |
