Afrika'da sosyalist rejimlerin doğuşu: Somali örneği 1969-79

Abstract

Afrika Sosyalizmi, sömürge karşıtı ilerici bir hareket olarak ortaya çıkmıştır. Ancak sömürge sonrası dönemde devlet inşa etme konusunda en güçlü fikirlerden birine dönüşmeyi başarmıştır. Bu tez ile Afrika sosyalist rejimlerinin doğasını ve kategorilerini derin bir şekilde tartışılmaya ve Afrika sosyalizmi üzerine geniş bir şekilde açıklama getirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Tez, 1969'daki Somali Devrimi'ni, özellikle de devrimin ilk on yılını bir örnek olay incelemesi olarak ele almıştır. Bu devrimci rejim, 1970'lerin ortasında kıtada geleneksel sosyalistlerin muhalefetinde ortaya çıkan radikal Marksist rejimleri temsil etmiştir. Somali, sosyalizmin daha ortodoks bir versiyonu olan bilimsel sosyalizmi resmî olarak benimsemiştir. 70'lerden önce bu tür bir sosyalizm, Afrika kıtasında popüler değildi. African Socialism emerged as an anti-colonial progressive movement and subsequently succeeds to transform into one of the strongest ideas on the State building in the post-colonial era. This thesis attempts to explain broadly African socialism and profoundly the nature and categorizations of African socialist regimes. The thesis employs Somalian Revolution of 1969 as a case study, specifically the first decade. This revolutionary regime represents the radical Marxist regimes that emerged in the Mid-1970s on the continent in opposition of the traditional socialists. Somalia adopts officially "Scientific Socialism" which is a more orthodox version of socialism. Before 1970s this type of Socialism was not popular in the African continent. The thesis focuses on the social and economic reforms that Somali revolutionists implemented during their absolute rule in the country.
