| dc.description.abstract | Hittites, who founded one of the biggest civilizations ever seen throughout the history, ruled for a long time in Anatolia, in the geography that we live. They left many traces in the history with their high progress in civilization and hence they have been an object of scientific investigation for many reasons. The reigning period of Telipinu, known as the last king of the Old Hittite Period, changed the course of history and therefore is one of the most important issues to focus. He enlightens his period and the previous one with the edict that he composed. Telipinu Edict is accepted as the resource conveying the best information on the Old Hittite Kingdom. However, the Telipinu period is not made up of this mere document. There are present other documents too, informing us on the Telipinu period. In this study, all documents regarding the king Telipinu were combined together and a lack on the topic was tried to be overcome in an integrated manner. Moreover, within the framework of the mentioned resources, the Telipinu period was elaborately discussed, evaluated and presented. | tr_TR |
| dc.description.ozet | Anadolu'da tarihin en büyük uygarlıklarından birini kurmus olan Hititler, üzerinde yasadıgımız bu cografyada uzun yıllar hüküm sürmüslerdir. Eristikleri yüksek uygarlık düzeyi ile tarihte derin izler bırakan bu halk bugün birçok bakımdan bilim dünyasının arastırma sahasına girmektedir. Eski Hitit döneminin son kralı olarak bilinen Telipinu'nun hükümdarlık dönemi Hitit tarihinin akısını degistirmesi nedeniyle üzerinde durulması gereken konulardan biridir. Özellikle, olusturdugu ferman ile kendi dönemine ve kendisinden önceki döneme ısık tutar. Telipinu Fermanı Eski Hitit Krallıgı'nı en iyi aktaran kaynak olarak kabul edilmektedir. Ancak Telipinu dönemi yalnızca bu belgeden ibaret degildir. Telipinu dönemi hakkında bilgi sahibi olabilecegimiz baska kaynaklar da bulunmaktadır. Tezimizin konusunu olusturan kral Telipinu ile ilgili tüm belgeler bu çalısma ile bir araya getirilmis ve bu konudaki eksiklik tamamlanarak bir bütünlük saglanmaya çalısılmıstır. Ayrıca eldeki kaynaklar dogrultusunda Telipinu dönemi çalısmamızda ayrıntılı bir biçimde ele alınarak degerlendirilmis ve sunulmustur. | tr_TR |
