| dc.description.abstract | Fizyoloji disiplini, gelişim süreci geç başlamış olsa da XVIII. XIX. ve XX. yüzyıllar arasını oldukça hızlı ilerlemeler ile geçirmiştir. Fizyolojinin metodik çerçeveye oturması Claude Bernard ile mümkün olmuştur. Osmanlı Devleti'nde ise Bernard'ın öğrencisi olarak Mehmet Şakir Paşa ile disiplinin kurumsallaşmaya başladığını görmekteyiz. Kemal Cenap (Berksoy), Şakir Paşanın 1909 yılında ölümü sonrası disiplinin başına geçmesiyle hayatı boyunca disiplinin daha kapsamlı olarak kurumsallaşmasının tamamlaması için çalışmıştır. Bu çalışma kapsamında Cenap'ın Fizyoloji Disiplininin başına geçtiği yıllarda yazmış olduğu telif Türkçe ilk Deneysel Fizyoloji kitabı olan Amelî Fîzîyoloji Derslerî eserinin incelemesi yapılmıştır. Eserin hem bilim tarihinde değerlendirilmesi gereken bir üslubunun olduğu hem de kullandığı yöntem ve ekipmanların Fizyoloji alanına özgün katkılarının bulunduğu gözlemlenmiştir. Ayrıca Cenap'ın akademik hayatındaki yayınlarının incelenmesinin hem genel anlamda bilim tarihi hem de özelde disiplin tarihi için önemli olacağı anlaşılmıştır. | tr_TR |
| dc.description.ozet | Although the development process of the discipline of physiology started late, it has made rapid progress between the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. The methodical framework of physiology was made possible by Claude Bernard. In the Ottoman Empire, we see that the discipline began to institutionalize with Mehmet Şakir Pasha as Bernard's student. Kemal Cenap (Berksoy) worked throughout his life to complete the institutionalization of the discipline after Şakir Pasha's death at 1909. Within the scope of this study, the first Experimental Physiology book in Turkish, Amelî Fîzîyoloji Derslerî, which was written by Cenap in the years when he was the head of the Physiology Discipline, was examined. It has been observed that the work has a style that should be evaluated in the history of science and that it has original contributions to the field of Physiology with the methods and equipment it uses. In addition, it has been understood that Cenap's publications in his academic life will be important both for the history of science in general and for the history of discipline in particular. | tr_TR |
