    Karotis stenozu ile hs-CRP ve bakır düzeyinin ilişkisi

    The aim of this study is to investigate relationship between hs-CRP and Cu levels andcarotid stenosis. We studied 107 out patients ([81 women, 26 men) within whom serum CRPlevels were measured and IMT measurements were done by Doppler USG. The statisticalanalyses of the data was performed by SPSS program. Cu and CRP levels and IMT valueswere found to be statistically significant (p<0.05 and p<0.001 respectively). IMT odds ratiowas found to be 0.625 mm(by ROC analyses). IMT values were found to be in corcondansCRP levels,but not within Cu levels.KEY WORDS :Carotid stenosis CRP , Copper, Doppler US, IMT
