    Ulviye Mevlan: Yaşamı ve düşünceleri
(Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü, 2008) Kutlar, Mithat; Sancar, Serpil; Sosyoloji
Even tough women contributed to all aspects of social life, their struggles were never represented enough in historiographies. Women were not valued enough to produce new works on their lives and experiences instead of or along with those of men. This thesis is situated within those works which are a few in numbers but which aim to fulfill a large gap. This study is on Ulviye Mevlan who has contributed greatly to the women's movement in the Ottoman Empire. In her person, this thesis aims to contribute to the study of the struggle for rights of women after the second constitutional era
