    In this thesis, the Turkish Republics in the process of independence, their struggle between the years 1985-1993 is discussed. Gorbachev?s perestroika and glasnost of the Soviet Union, governing from 1985-1991, the name of the reform work of the cold war ended, but these reforms have led to the dissolution of the Soviet Union. Recent history, which is one of the two major world power, the process of disintegration of the Soviet Union in their struggle for independence is an important turning point for us ws the Turkish Republics. Strategic and geographical importance has gained a large increase in sister states.
