    This study named as ? Middle Bronze Age Period Pottery at Southeastern Anatolia Region?, is conducted on the research of Middle Bronze Age pottery assemblages in Southeastern Anatolia Region settlements. The pottery findings of Saraga Höyük is taken as the main data resource. Within the framework of this study, the pottery group of Saraga Höyük is taken into consideration as the main data material. The data of the other settlements is researched on the relevant literature in order to make a collective assessment of the pottery found at the region.In section II: The geographical location and the structure of the Southeastern Anatolia Region , the political apperance during the 2nd millenium B.C. and the general information on the settlements of the region has revealed. There is no written evidence on Middle Bronze Age (2000- 1600 B.C.) Southeastern Anatolia Region till recently. The tablets found at Syria, Iraq and Central Anatolia (Kültepe) gives some indirect information on the said Region. While conducting this section, the written evidence of the neighbouring settlements of the Southeastern Anatolia Region is taken into consideration.In section III: The mainlines of the widespread pottery groups in Southeastern Anatolia Region is revealed within the neighbouring regions. A short history of the pottery resarchs on the region is demonstrated and the general knowledge on the widespread pottery of the said period is revealed.In section IV: The inventory and the typological classification of the pottery on the Southeastern Anatolia Region is conducted within the evidence from Şaraga Höyük. The data on the neighbouring settlements is obtained with the help of the related literature and is evaluated.In section V: The evaluation and the presentation of the spread, the relation with the neighbouring regions and the dating of the pottery is taken into consideration.It is observed that during the Middle Bronze Age Period, there are different cultural regions in the Southeastern Anatolia Region. The tradition on pottery production has a continuity during the Early Bronze Age Period. The pottery of Saraga Höyük is the product of local productions and the core region of this pottery group is the Euphrates Walley.
