The technological development that results new communication technologies, materialize in the atmosphere of todays political, economical and social enviroment and affect each other, being a result of this enviroment and forming it.The approaches intended for the explanation of the shape of the relations between technology and gender, rise from patriarchal society and different traditions that define relation types which are the results of this type of society. This approaches with definition of man and woman related with science and technology, conceptualize different types in terms of social results of symbolic coding that occures in the mass communication instruments.The production, the use of communication instruments and the messages that given by, the function for the establishment and progress of secondary social rank of woman are very important issues.Technology and social gender are concepts which established by society and having strong relationship with patriarchal systhem at the phase of establishment and associating technology with social gender identity are main issues of this study.In this study, the relations between competence, identity, technology and social gender are evaluated as interactive, forming each other, regenerating concepts not one sided.In this study, firstly there are explanations about main concepts and then the relations between this concepts. After the theoric phase, relations of technology, internet and social gender, were examined by compiling and analizing of 85 emails about woman and man which were sending on internet.
