Item Anadolu liselerinde eğitimin niteliği ve sorunları(Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü, 2000) Erdoğan, Ali; Adem, Mahmut; Eğitim Programı ve Öğretimi BölümüABSTRACT Anatolian lycees have become part of our daily lives arid also focus point of our education system in the sense of Turkish people's tendency. (Besides this, primary school students who are graduated ) and their parents also take roles in entering these lycees. Anatolian lycees which have been opened with an accelerated movement may cause some problems and our perspective aims at displaying an absolute way for these problems. This study objects to emerge the qualification of the education in Anatolian teachers lycees. In this sense some investigations are acted on three hundred and thirty four teachers and the success of forty two students who were observed from Anatolian lycees was compared with the success of Anatolian technical lycees and Anatolian teachers lycees. In this study : It is understood that Anatolian lycees were opened in a limited way and also in a planned way but in recent years this limit has been violated and many Anatolian lycees have been opened. It is certain that students of Anatolian lycees are better than the students in normal lycees in the sense of learning a foreign language. This is no a surprise because of their quality of education/ In general, we have a problem about well-qualified teaches issue-well- qualified teachers are especially needed in Anatolian lycees which are training and educating super brains. The teaching of a foreign language isn't seen well enough according to some standards. The usage of a foreign language is in moderate limit ( not high, not low). VIIThe Anatolian lycâes have been opened in many undeveloped regions so that they haven't displayed their first graduated students yet. Anatolian lycees students have taken supports from private courses and lessons to enter the university. This fact is generally admitted by the teachers of these lycees. This gives some clues about the qualification of the education. The competence of Anatolian lycees in choosing the skillful students is not found well-enough by teachers. The avid studies which are done in school have some problems because of the teachers' necessity in their servants. According to the high school foundations, the university entrance exam of 1997 and its results showed that science lycees which are official are the first, private ones are the second. Anatolian lycees are the third and private lycees are the fourth in their degree of entering universities.
