| dc.description.abstract | Bu tez arşiv malzemesine dayanarak, ilgili edebî metinlerin ve halk anlatılarının da yardımıyla erken modern Osmanlılarda inançsızlığın tarih-öncesini inceliyor. Bunu yaparken, erken modern Osmanlı toplumunun zihniyetini yeniden inşa etmede eldeki malzemenin sınırlarını da anlamaya çalışıyor. Bu kapsamda çalışma üç konuya odaklanıyor: Kutsala sövgüler, ilhad töhmeti altında bulunanlar ve 17. yüzyıl Osmanlılarının zihninde iz bırakmış bir Celâlî kimliği olan Tanrıbilmezlik. Bu konuda çalışma, imparatorluğa başkaldırmış eşkıyalara dair anlatılara ve geriye kalan dokümanlara aynı anda eğilmek gerektiğine dikkat çekiyor. | tr_TR |

| dc.description.ozet | This thesis explores the prehistory of unbelief in early modern Ottomans, based on archival research with the help of related literary texts and folk narratives. While doing so, it also attempts to understand the limits of the materials when trying to reconstruct the mentality of early modern Ottoman society. In this context, the study focuses on three things: Blasphemies, those under suspicion of "ilhâd" and Tanrıbilmezness, which is a Jelālī identity that left its mark on the minds of the 17th-century Ottomans. In this matter, the study points out that it is necessary to simultaneously pay attention to the narratives and surviving documents about the bandits who rebelled against the empire. | tr_TR |
