| tr_TR |

dc.description.ozet | In order to reveal the Borehole Thermal Energy Storage potentials of Istanbul and Ankara provinces with closed system wells, thermal conductivity, density, water content of rocks and undisturbed ground temperatures in the provincial areas were investigated. Thermal Response Test was carried out for the ground source heat pump system of the İller Bankası Ataşehir building in the Istanbul region. Using these data, the minimum heat exchange potential to be obtained from a well heat exchanger to be drilled at a depth of 100 m in Istanbul and Ankara regions was calculated. Metasandstones and claystones are located in areas where existing dense residence and their thermal conductivity varies between 1,038 and 5,047 W / mK. It has a heat exchange potential of 10.2 MWh / year from a single well heat exchanger. The highest thermal conductivities were obtained in the quartzite rocks forming the Aydos Formation in the Istanbul region of 5,252 W / mK and it has the highest heat exchange potential of 31,88 MWh / year. In the Ankara region, high values up to 2.8 W / mK have been obtained in rocks such as gabbro, marble, limestone. Such rocks have a heat exchange potential of 7.7- 9.1 MWh / year. Rock thermal conductivities, which play an important role in system design, were measured in igneous, sandstone, limestone and metamorphic rocks, and the rock was studied together with petrographic features. The phenocrystal content, dimensions and quartz content of igneous rocks are in direct proportion to thermal conductivity. In sandstones, the thermal conductivity increases from the intermediate material supported tissue to the grain supported tissue. The ratio of micrite, spar and clay forming the intermediate material in limestone determines the thermal conductivity. The higher the micrite and clay content, the lower the thermal conductivity values. It has been determined that the spar calcite and silica content in the limestone, the higher the contact surface of the bioclasts with each other, the higher the thermal conductivity value. In metamorphic rocks, thermal conductivity increases with increasing grain size and degree of metamorphism. | tr_TR |
