Heliothis armigera Hhubn.) (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae)'nin değişik populasyonlarının bazı insektisistlere karşı duyarlılık düzeylerinin belirlenmesi üzerinde araştırmalar
Özet
The purpose of this study was to investigate susceptibility levels of Heliolhis armigera (Hubn.) strains collected from cotton fields in Adana, Hatay, and Antalya to some insecticides hy using bioassay and biochemical methods. In all H. armigera strains, LD50 values of endosulfan, profenofos, methomyl, tralomethrin and lambda-cyhalothrin were determined by using topical bioassay method. Resistance ratios of field strains were determined at LDjo levels for all insecticides. The activities of general esterase, glutathione S-transferase (GST), and acetylcholinesterase (AChE) enzymes were determined for all strains by biochemical analyses. Adana and Hatay strains had lower general esterase enzyme activities than that of susceptible strain. General esterase enzyme activity in Antalya strain was found to be similar to susceptible strain. GST and AChE enzyme activities of field strains and susceptible strain were found to be similar. Key Words: Heliolhis armigera, cotton bollworm, insecticide resistance, insecticides, enzyme activities.
