Özet
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of recreational activities on students' studying for university entrance exam self-efficacy, test anxiety, and leisure time satisfaction level. The research was conducted with 24 male and 24 female students ( Age = 18, 81 ± 0,93) who were attending the university exam course. Experiment and control groups consisted of 12 male and 12 female students each. Both experiment and control groups were applied General Self-efficacy Scale, West Side Test Anxiety Scale, and Leisure Time Satisfaction Scale as pre and post test in the classroom environment. The program consisted of recreational activities was conducted to students in experimental group after pretest application, while no implementation was done for students in control group. Post tests were applied studens in both experiment and control groups after experiment process. Two Way Repeated Measures Analysis of Variance was used to compare students' pre and post test scores of self-efficacy, test anxiety, and leisure time satisfaction levels in both experiment and control groups. The results showed that students' in experiment group self-efficacy, physical, social, and relaxation leisure time satisfaction level increased and test anxiety level decreased significantly compared to the students in control group. Consequently, it was proved that adolescents' doing recreational activities in their leisure time caused adaptive outcomes.
