Ferulago sandrasica Peşmen & Quezel ve Ferulago mughlae Peşmen (Apiaceae) türleri üzerinde farmasötik botanik yönünden araştırmalar

PThe aim of this study is to compare Ferulago sandrasica and Ferulago mughlae species which are endemic species for Turkey. For this purpose morphological and anatomical features of the species have been investigated, similarities and differences have been demonstrated with drawings and photographs. The aerial and underground parts of both species have been analyzed for major active substance groups. The volatile oil contents of fruits, roots and herba of both species have been established and it has been shown that both species have different components. Different extracts of aerial and underground parts and volatile oils of fruits, herba and roots of both species have been tested against some bacteria and fungi for their antibacterial and antifungal activities. Since water extracts of the roots have been used as aphrodisiacs traditionally, this activity were also investigated the roots and herba of Ferulago mughlae and it has been found that especially Ferulago mughlae roots has significant activity on erectile disfunction. Anticancer effects of the underground parts and roots of Ferulago mughlae has been investigated and it has significant activity.
