Mâverdî'nin (ö. 450/1058) El-Ahkâmü's-Sultâniyye adlı eserinde ayetleri kullanma yöntemi (En-Nüket Ve'l-ʿuyûn-Teʾvîlâtü'l-Kurʾân karşılaştırmalı)
Abstract
In this study, it was emphasized how Mâverdî interpreted the verses while approaching the issues in el-Aḥkâmü's-sulṭâniyye. Also, in our study, a comparison was made between Mâverdî's work, en-Nükhet ve'l uyûn, which is another work of his work and, Abu Mansur al-Mâtürîdî, named Teʾvîlâtü'l- Quran. In our research, the following conclusions were reached: The works called El-Aḥkâmü's-sulṭâniyye were written by judges in general. Mâverdî's work is also considered in this category. In addition, the el-Aḥkâmü's-sulṭâniyye is not a commentary study; however, the verses are handled in a jurisprudence. Tafsir methods were used in evaluations on the subject. Mâverdî used the method of narration in the interpretation of the verses in both his el-Aḥkâmü's-sulṭâniyye and his en-Nükhet ve'l uyûn, and applied to the case law and vote. He also included verses, hadiths, companions and natural opinions in the tafsir method. He is in alliance with the Mâtürîdîthat the word "Caliph of Allah" should not be used. Both commentators approached the problems caused by the caliphate by means of confidence and made philosophical analyzes from time to time. However, it was witnessed that the two commentators diverged from place to place between the Sultân and the public. Details on the subject are given in other parts of the thesis. Our research consists of three parts, including introduction. In the introduction, the subject, importance, objectives, method and sources of our research are emphasized. In the first part, information is given about Mâverdî's life, his works, the el-Aḥkâmü's- 110 sulṭâniyye and en-Nükhet ve'l uyûn and the Teʾvîlâtü'l- Quran belonging to Mâtürîdî. In the second part, information was given about the matters included in Mâverdî's work named el-Aḥkâmü's-sulṭâniyye, verses about them and their interpretations. The research ended with the evaluation of the data obtained throughout the study.
