The aim of this study is to examine the effect of Life Skills Psychoeducation Program on life skills and problem behaviours of Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School's girl students. Pre-test, post-test, follow-up test-1, follow-up test- 2,semi-experimental design with control group was used in the research. The study group consisted of girl students at the eleventh grade studying in a Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School in Altındağ, Ankara. The method of equalization of the groups was carried out in the determination of the experimental and control group. Just as the experimental group was made up of 16 students, the control group was also made up of 16 students. In this study, The Life Skills Scale, developed by the researcher, was used in order to determine the life skills of students and The Behavior Problems Scale, adapted into Turkish by Çelik-Örücü, Bugay, Çok and Tuna (2015), was used to specify the problem behaviours of the students. The qualitative datas were collected by means of Life Skills Psychoeducation Program Evaluation Form and Teacher Observation Form. The Life Skills Psychoeducation Program was applied to the experimental group. The program consisted of 18 sessions including one pre-session, eight psychoeducation, eight workshops and the last session. The three-session stress management activities developed by Ministry of Education were applied to the control group. The first follow-up test was conducted one and a half month later following the post- test and the second follow-up test was carried out three months later following the first follow-up test. ANOVA test was used to compare groups and measures to assess the effects of the Life Skills Psychoeducation Program on life skills and problem behaviours of students. Descriptive analysis technique was used for summarizing and interpreting the qualitative data obtained from study. At the end of the study, it was found out that there was a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores of the students in the experimental group in the Life Skills Scale and Behaviour Problems Scale. Life Skills Psychoeducation Program increased the level of life skills and decreased the problem behaviours of the students in the experimental group. It was also realized that the impact of the program on the experimental group continued to be effective four and a half month later. The qualitative findings obtained from the study suggested that the Life Skills Psychoeducation Program applied to the experimental group had a positive effect on increasing the students' life skills and decreasing problem behaviours.
