Çevre hareketlerinde ekoloji temelli öğrenme: HES örneği
Özet
In this study, it is aimed to reveal the ecology-based learning processes that emerged during the anti-HES struggles in Artvin, Antalya and Tunceli provinces based on the opinions of the participants in the anti-HEPP struggles, and also, it is aimed to analyze how the anti-HEPP struggles affect thoughts of participants about human-nature-ecology and their acts, by taking advantage of the Marxist Ecology too. It is designed as a qualitative study in the screening model and is an example of a case study model that is the sub-type of the scanning model. The study group consisted of 28 semi-structured individual interviews (10 of them in Antalya, 11 of them in Artvin, 7 of them in Tunceli) and 1 semi-structured group interview in Tunceli (a family consist of 4 people that include mother, father, son and bride). Totally, this group consist of 32 people who against the HEPP and voluntarily agreed to participate in this research. In order to determine the study group, purposive sampling method was used. Maximum diversity sampling, which is a type of purposive sampling, has been used to ensure that the collected data is as broad and varied as possible While collecting data, semi-structured interview form which was developed by the researcher was used. As a result; it was seen that women and men participated together in the HEPP protests. HEPP protests include individuals in a wide range of age. It was observed that individuals and unemployed people from various occupational groups participated in HEPP protests. It has been concluded that the forms of being aware of the HES project and the times of being aware of the HEPP project affect the starting form and the start time of HEPP protest. It has been found that awareness levels, interests and ecological sensitivities of individuals are effective in the initiation of the anti-HEPP struggles. It has been observed that people who against the HEPP use more than one and a variety of method of struggles during the anti-HES struggles. It has been understood that people who against the HEPP are opposed to HEPPs the reasons about ecological, economic, political, religious and daily life. As a result of the anti-HEPP struggles, value of nature increased for participants, they became more concerned about the nature, they were more sensitive to the environment, the participants reached the understanding that nature is a place where all living things have the right to housing and surviving equally and also as a result of this understanding they began to feel responsible for living things.
