Küresel terörizm: Pakistan medyasının rolü
Özet
The Islamization of state and society in Pakistan provided an ideal environment for global terrorists like Al-Qaeda to pursue their ideologies and terror acts. Thesis establishes a positive correlation between terrorists? ideologies and the news media in Pakistan which further reinforces the process of radicalization of people and state. Terrorists have sympathizers and actors within the media who provide bias coverage of them and thus influence the public perception. This perception further strengthens the terrorists grip on society when public opinion favors them. This cause-and-affect model creates a vicious cycle where terrorists not only effect the public opinions but pubic in turn lend them support and affect policy making of the state.
