2016 Avrupa Futbol Şampiyonasındaki müsabakaların teknik-taktik açıdan analizi
Abstract
The aim of this study is to analyze the teams, which won and lost the matches in European Football Championship 2016, from technical and tactical aspects. In total, 24 teams participated into the tournament, and totally 51 matches were played. 16 matches that ended with deuce, were not examined, while 35 matches ended with winning and loss were examined analyzed in terms of technical and tactical parameters. The universe and sample of study consist of 35 matches played in grouping phase and elimination phase after the grouping matches. The study data were recorded from TV by using Punto+Plus digital HD device and then transferred into computer environment. And then the matches were analyzed using E-Analiz software. SPSS 22 package software was used for statistical analysis of obtained data. Shapiro-Wilk test was performed in order to determine if the data are distributed normally, and it was found that the data are not normally distributed. For the data distributed non-normally, Mann-Whitney U non-parametric test was used for determining the differences between 2 independent groups. The data were expressed as mean and standard deviation, and statistical significant was set at p<0.05. According to the findings, statistically significant differences were found between the groups in terms of total goals scored in 1st half and 2nd half, goals scored from the penalty area, goals scored from outside the penalty area, total number of shots, successful shots, shot success percentage, and crossing success percentage (p<0.05). Between the groups, no statistically significant difference was found in terms of penalty goal, total number of passes, successful passes, unsuccessful passes, successful passes in their own half, unsuccessful passes in their own half, successful pass in opponent half, unsuccessful pass in opponent half, pass success rate, total number of cross, unsuccessful shots, winning the ball, ball possession duration, yellow card, red card, offside, foul, corner, and ball possession (p>0.05). In conclusion, the technical and tactical parameters are important factors having effects on winning or losing a match. It is thought that certain technical and tactical parameters of winning teams are superior then losing teams but these parameters are not solitarily enough for winning a match. Coaches should focus on technical and tactical parameters, determine the weaknesses and strengths of opponents, and concentrate on these points in trainings in order to win the matches and eliminate the deficiencies.
