Konservatuvarların opera anasanat dalında yürütülen yardımcı piyano dersinin öğretim elemanı ve öğrenci görüşlerine göre değerlendirilmesi

The present study is a descriptive research which strives to investigate current status of secondary piano course taught at the voice departments of the conservatories on the basis of the opinions of faculty members and students. To that end, two different study groups were utilized during data collection phase. In terms of the first study group of the research, of the faculty members who taught at the state conservatories founded under universities across Turkey as of 2017; five academicians from Ankara University; three academicians from Anadolu University; two academicians from Konya Selçuk University; and three academicians from Başkent University. In terms of the second study group included in the research group, students from voice departments of these four universities were included in. The first study group comprised of faculty members was asked to fill in an interview form prepared by the researcher in line with the objective of the study. Obtained findings were exhibited in tables and interpreted. On the basis of these findings, opinions of respondents and problems with the secondary piano course taught at the voice department were determined and relevant suggestions for resolution of these problems were drawn.
