Özet
The purpose of the present study was to investigate and evaluate the opinions of the adults having creative drama as a method during their in-service training. Using descriptive model, subjects were 115 adults selected from in-service trainings who had minimum twelve hours creative drama. Opinions about creative drama questionnaire was applied to the group. The questionnaire is composed of three parts. The first part consists an inquiry form and the second and third part consist items representing different dimensions on the influence of creative drama method on education. The items were classified into five heading and the study was employed on five heading.The questionnaire was analysed on the program called SPSS for Windows 17.0. The descripive statistics methods were used (Number, Percentage, Mean, Standart deviation) in evaluating the data. As hypothetical tests, nonparametric tests such as Kruskal Wallis H- Test, Mann Whitney U test were used and correlational analysis was employed.The results of the present study indicated that the adults having creative drama during in-service training had positive opinions about creative drama. Factor analysis results provide evidence that the trainings using creative drama as a method are supportive for personel development and democratic and more efficient than traditional and other training methods.Regarding these results, more frequent use of creative drama method on education is recommended in both transferring the content of training and meeting other corporate needs (such as team spirit, motivation, etc.). It is predicted that trainings using drama as a method would be more efficient especially in institutions using customer relations and communication skills such as call center.Key words: Creative drama, adult training, in-service training, method, opinions.
