Demografik fırsat penceresinin sosyal güvenlik sistemi açısından değerlendirilmesi
Özet
Demographic change concerns many areas directly like economic growth, employment and social security, as well as it has a significant impact on the size and structure of population. However, demographic window of opportunity, which arise with the effects of demographic change, is composed once in different periods for each country and the working age population during this period has reached the highest point increasingly. With the right policies in these periods, the working age population returns to the employment and social security systems as well as economic growth are also affected positively. In our country, it is estimated that the demographic window of opportunity closes after a short time period such as 23 years. In this study, it is intended to measure the effect of accurate evaluation of demographic window of opportunity period on the social security system in Turkey. Furthermore, when the demographic window of opportunity period returns to an occasion then its contribution on employment, social security premium incomes and active/passive ratio are analyzed and some suggestions are made in policy. Also, it is studied that the case of the demographic window of opportunity period does not return to an occasion and, expected losses in terms of social security system is viewed.
