Yenilebilir piliç iç organlarında Clostridium perfringens'in saptanması ve moleküler tiplendirilmesi
Özet
SUMMARYMolecular typing of Clostridium perfringens isolated from edible offals of chicken by multiplex PCRThe study was aimed for the isolation and molecular typing of Clostridium perfringens of chicken edible offals. A total of 90 samples consisting 45 heart-liver and 45 gizzard were collected from a slaughterhouse in Ankara. The samples were brought under cold condition to the laboratory and tested for the same day.For the isolation of Clostridium perfringens from the samples culture technique was used, whereas for molecular typing of the isolates standard (cpa) and multiplex (cpa, etx, iA, cpe and cpb2 genes) PCR assey was used. C. perfringens was isolated from 21 heart-liver (46.7 %) and 8 gizzard (17.7 %) samples tested. All of the C. perfringens isolates 29 (32.2 %) were found positive for cpa gene and only 2 gizzard isolates (4.4 % ) were positive for cpb2, gene but cpb, etx, iA or cpe genes were detected in any of the isolates. In conclusion, a significant part of the chicken edible offal samples tested in this study was found positive for C. perfringens. Suitable hygienic and technical conditions should be taken for the safety of the chicken products.Key words: Clostridium perfringens, chicken edible offals, molecular typing, multiplex PCR.
