| dc.description.abstract | The basic goal of this piece of research is to investigate the ''identity'' phenomenon which enables both the lives of the individual and the society possible and yet meaningful with its different dimensions and also seek role of the religion in the formation and preservation of the identitiy.The basic concepts of our study are Identity and Religion. In addition, other concepts that are related with those have also been taken into consideration. For example: ethno-identity, national-identity ,collective- identity etc.After determined the topic and aim of the research, identity and religion were explained and investigated relationship religion and identitiy as a factor in the formation and preservation of the identitiy.Key concepts: Identity, Religion. | tr_TR |

| dc.description.ozet | Bu tez çalışmasının temel problemi, birey ve toplum hayatını var eden ve anlamlı kılan `kimlik' olgusunu, çeşitli boyutlarıyla incelemek ve din olgunsun, kimliğin oluşumunda ve korunmasında oynadığı rolü araştırmaktır.Çalışmamızın temel kavramları Kimlik ve Din'dir. Bunun yanında, bu kavramların ilişkili olduğu başka birtakım kavramlar daha ele alınmıştır.
