In this study named as "An Approach in View of Special Teaching Methods to the Life of the Prophet Mohammed in Scope of Religious Culture and Ethics Course in Primary Education", we examined how life of the Prophet Mohammed, a subject in primary education, should be taught. Especially we emphasized the significance of his life and that his life should be taken as a model in primary education period during which basic ethical characteristics and various habits are gained. In view of mental and religious development of students taking Religious Culture and Ethics course and concerns and needs evolved because of these developments, we tried to develop special education methods. We interviewed with teachers of Religious Culture and Ethics course and students taking this course. We determined that the information on life of the Prophet Mohammed was not applied to behaviors. According to the existing program of Religious Culture and Ethics course, we tried to put forward topics related to the life of the Prophet Mohammed by developing education principles and methods and model lectures. We detected that by good planning and applying the chosen method step by step, the life of the Prophet Mohammed could be learned on behavior level.
