Özet
The Evaluation of Stress Hormones in the Patients with Oral Lichen Planus and Recurrent Apthous StomatitisIn this study the aetiological role of stress in OLP and RAS patients are examined with objective and subjective criterias.Plasma cortisole, ACTH, prolactine, noradrenaline, adrenaline, metanefrine, normetanefrine, STH values and 24 houred urine adrenaline, noradrenaline, VMA, metanefrine, normetanefrine values of 16 RAU and 16 OLP patients were compared with the control group. Also the patients were examined with STAI and Beck depression inventory. In nonerosive and erosive OLP groups the values of urine adrenaline, metanefrine, normetanefrine were found significantly lower valued than control group(p<0.05 ).The urine metanefrine value in the RAS group with lesions, urine adrenaline and metanefrine values in the RAS group without lesion were found significantly lower than the control group (p<0.05). Serum prolactine and adrenaline values in nonerosive groups and plasma adrenaline, noradrenaline and prolactine values in erosive groups were found significantly lower than the control group (p<0.05). In the RAS group with no lesions the value of plasma adrenaline, noradrenaline value were lower than the control group. In STAI examination of OLP patients the STAIt scores found higher compared with the control group (p<0.05).As a conclusion it might be considered that anxiety had an aetiological role in the OLP group, however hormone analyses values did not support this idea. Keywords: 1.
