The main objective of this research is to determine positive and negative effects of the attidutes of the new adjustments in agricultural support policies on cereal producers and the expectations of the producers concerning support policy. Polatlı District, where the stock-exchange of cereals work efficiently and the average size of the farms is far above the average size of Turkish farms, has been determined as reserch Research depends on literacy and the original data which were collected through inquiries fulfilled with farmers in Polatlı District. Farmers were determined by random sampling method among farms in 9 village of Polatlı district. Farms were grouped according to their land size. Original data belong to 2000- 2001 period. Support policies have changed with the introduction of liberal economy principles to agriculture in Turkey. However, following the new arrangements in support policy, farmers did not align themselves in the direction of improving the structure of their farms. As a result of general economic crisis and high inflation rates in Turkey, the use of agricultural inputs were significantly lessened. Farmers who have low income were affected more from that situation. The production value of cereals was low per decare. Stock exchange was preferred for cereal sales because of cash payment and the sales of creals were mostly accomplished just after the harvest. Direct support which was given in order to compansate the income loss of farmers due to the revealed abolishment support policies was not given on time during the production process in the first implementation year. Research findings show that expectations of farmers from the government decrease when farm size increase.
