In recent years., some environmental issues and deterioration of ecological balance appears as a result of increase of energy use. Reducing the need of energy is possible with a design and planning process balanced climate .Meteorological parameters and new parameters that obtained with their statistical investigation is very important for design features, selection of materials and new locations to be used for settlements. In this context, the temperature and humudity parameters were examined in the study, from these parameters bioclimatic comfort and heating-cooling degree days are derived and the results were evaluated. Meteorological parameters are taken from Directorate General Research and Information Technology Department of Turkish State Meteorological Service. The data sets are prepared for 1980-2009 and 2007-2009 periods and the new parameters are derived from this period in Arcgis software. In the study, the temperature and humudity parameters are used of 18 stations that around Ankara. Temperature maps are prepared on a monthly basis and presented 1*1* km. resolution by using digital elevation maps. Moisture maps are prepared on a monthly basis only for the period 1980-2009. The heating and cooling degree days that derived from montly temperature avarages and the sensible temperature parameters that derived from temperature and humudity are mapped on monthly basis and presented in research findings In the conclusion, bioclimatic comfort zones that derived from sensible temperature parameter and results of investigating of heating-cooling degree days are evaluated.
