Osmanlı düşüncesinde İbn Sinâ şarihlerinden Hadimî ve İhlâs Sûresi hâşiyesi
Özet
İbn Sinâ has an important place in the Ottoman thought that is a combination of philosophy, theology, and Sufism. He was able to challenge the centuries through his works and thought, leaving a great fame behind and founding a tradition relying on his thought. One aspect of the Avicennan tradition?s ramification into the Ottoman thought is the commentaries and annotations on his works produced by the following generations of scholars. As an example, one can mention his commentary on the Surah Ikhlas that he composed to substantiate his ontology and that reveals his exegetical aspect which has been largely ignored. In this study, I have first tried to investigate the position of İbn Sinâ in the Ottoman thought with a special reference to the commentaries on his works. After having examined in the first chapter of our study the life and writings of KHadimî, a follower and commentator of Birgivî, who represents a certain type of Puritanism in the Ottoman intellectual tradition, I have dealt with his aspect of writing commentary on İbn Sinâ?s works by focusing on his commenary on the Surah Ikhlas. Having noted the available manuscripts of this commentary, I have translated it into Turkish. In the third chapter, I have examined the views of İbn Sinâ and KHadimî on ontology, creation, and unity on the grounds of this commentary of KHadimî.The fact that KHadimî, who has been largely viewed to be an anti-intellectual scholar, wrote such a commentary in a period during which philosophy had been overlooked in the Islamic world shows that he attacheda great importance to philosophy. An examination of his commentary demonstrates truth. For he shared almost the same views on ontology with İbn Sinâ.Key Words: Necessary Being, contingent being, quiddity, existence, divine essence, divine attributes, unity, emanation
