Metritisli süt ineklerinde vitamin A, beta karoten ve vitamin E düzeyleri
Özet
Vitamin A, ß-carotene and vitamin E levels have been determined in blood serumsamples taken from healthy (control) dairy cattle and cattle with metritis by HighPerformance Liquid Chromatography. For E. Coli, the microbiologic seeds havebeen realized in blood and Salmonella Shingella (SS) agars. In this research, thecows with average 4 ? 10 years old have been fed by straw, silage, alfalfa, turnip, pulp, meal and factory food (concentrated feed with protein rate 21 percent and 2700calories). The cows have bred average between 2 and 7, 20% of them have beenaborted and the analyses have been realized by concerning between 7th and 90th daysafter breeding. In this study, 10 of healthy cows (control group, KG) and 25 of cows withmetritis (Patient group, MG) have been used. E. Coli has not been found in thecontrol group on which seeding has been performed microbiologically in blood andSS agar.In the control and patient (metritis) groups of dairy cows, vitamin A, ß-carotene and vitamin E values have been determined as 5,57; 1,78 ; 6,14 and 3,40 ;1,13 ; 3,72 mg/L respectively. A statistically significant decrease have been observedin vitamin A, ß-carotene and vitamin E levels in the blood serum of cows withmastitis when compared to control group (p<0.01).
