Drama destekli öğretim modeli'nin plastik sanatlar temel tasarım edinimlerinin transferine etkisi
Abstract
In the process of training and instructing of the artistic desing; in the first year of the university the students have basic design course, however the students are not able to transfer the acquaintances of the course to the higher classess, this is the problematic of the study. A solution named training model based on drama (TMBD) was evaluated and proposed for the problem. By TMBD; the transformation of the basic design elements to the artistic applications is aimed. In order to make design and visual reading more active and comprehensible, an approach of identifying the design elements as mental instruments and applying them; is followed. By the way of dramatic education; taking out design elements from tecnical instructions and forming an educational environment which has been completed by emotional approach, is considered. Within this approach, having mental opportunities for constructing the universality of desing; first of all in the visual arts, according to the reading the artistic work by visual language; the form-concept; style; art teories and fashionable arts, is cosidered. TMBD, was studied by the students of Arts Education department of the Education Faculty of Gazi University. Thus; the effect of the experimental work to the students visual reading and design ability in the studio, is measured. For developing those abilities, TMBD's influence is observed.
