Abstract
In this study, it is aimed at evaluation of experiences of individuals who living with paper collection on education in Ankara. With this aim, the study presents and analyzes the processes of exclusion of individuals earning their lives collecting paper and it is based on their personal backgrounds together with the mechanisms of exclusion from the education system in relation to the social exclusion situations. In this research, social exclusion as a socio-economic reality is discussed with the present and / or past educational experiences, relations with education and the ways of understanding of the working people who earn their lives by collecting paper in order to reveal and analyze them together with the conditions that prepare it. In the study, qualitative research approach was used in order to reach in-depth information about individuals' lives and to reveal their feelings and thoughts in their own narratives; On the basis of the data collected by in-depth interview technique, life history method was used. Interviews were conducted with 8 individuals who collecting paper for living from different economic, cultural and social groups in order to reach different and intersecting experiences in education. According to the findings of the research, inadequacies caused by social, cultural and economic differentiation; individuals do not get enough support during the education process, and the deficiencies created by income level differences are felt in all areas of life.
