This study examines the quality assurance of a linear accelerator in intensity modulated radiation therapy, as well as the quality assurance and Multileaf Collimator (MLC) by the Elekta Synergy Platform and Varian Clinac Linear Accelerator at an energy level of 6 MV. First of all linear accelerator gantry, collimator and couch turns are analysed. Second tests of Multileaf Collimator (MLC) Leaf Positional Accuracy with MLC Transmission and Interleaf Leakage are considerated.Consequently, it is found that in Elekta and Varian lineer accelerators gantry, collimator, couch and ÇYK positional accuracy of MLC is<1mm, interleaf leakage value is <%2 and transmission value is <%1,5. The device and patient quality assurance controls are made by the techniques and hardware conforming to international protocols and it?s concluded that these devices are suitable for this type of treatment.
