Odontojenik keratokistlerde DNA yapısının morfometrik yöntemle değerlendirilmesi
Özet
53 SUMMARY Analysis of DNÂ structure In odontogenic keratocysts with morphometry methods In this study, it is aimed to light the way for Odontogenic keratocysts (OK) aggressive behaviour by examining the nuclear morphologic structure of Feulgen stained OK's nucleusus with image cytometry which is one of the quantitative pathology applications and compare to dentigerous cysfs and radicular cysts's nucleusus by investigating their DNA analysis. Nulear morphometric parameters involving, perimeter, area, form factor, min feret, max feret, intensity, IOD, DNA(c), DMA index, contrast and entropy were measured for each sample of 30 patients of whom constitutes the study and control groups. In the conclusion we couldn't find any statistical difference of geometrical and densitometric specialities between the study and control groups. However, when the entropy which is one of the visual specialities of nucleusus is examined it was seen that OK's nucleusus present more homogen structure. DMA histograms of all cases have presented diploid populations. Keywords : Nuclear morphometry, DNA ploidy, Odontogenic keratocyst
