Türkiye Cumhuriyeti ve Azerbaycan Cumhuriyeti devlet liselerinde çalışan öğretmenlerin iş doyumu açısından karşılaştırılması
Abstract
The level of job satisfaction of teachers employed at state high schools in Republic of Azerbaijan and Republic of Turkey are studied comparatively in this thesis. The research sample consisted of 250 teachers from Turkey, and 250 from Azerbaijan, totalling to 500 teachers. For collecting data, the Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale and a Personal Data Form prepared by the researcher were applied to teachers. The collected data was analysed by using SPSS program, release 10.6. The employed techniques are Correlation test, T test and One-Way ANOVA analysis. As a result of analysis it was found that the teachers do not differ from each other significantly as regards factors such as marital status, age, field of education, branches of specialisation, years of service, burden of work, number of dependent persons, and family incomes. However, it was found that the teachers differ from each other significantly when general level of job satisfaction, individual income, the intention to give up the profession, and whether the teacher selected the profession by his/her own will are considered.
