Bazı örten çift yıldızların fotometrik analizi
Özet
The present thesis includes the first detailed photometric analysis of two eclipsing binary stars, V776 Cas and V842 Her. The light curves of each eclipsing binaries were obtained at the TÜBİTAK National Observatory (TUG) during the nights of 8-9 October 2002 and 3-4 July 2003, respectively. The light curves of V776 Cas were contaminated by the third light effect due to the proximity of a visual companion to the binary system. The Binary Maker 2.0 program were used to derive the priliminary parameters of each binary system. With the radial velocity data taken from the literature, V776 Cas were analyzed by using Djurasevic's (Djurasevic, 1992a, 1992b) program and V842 Her were analyzed by using the last version of the Wilson-Devinney code (WD-2003). The solutions indicate that V776 Cas is a A-type W UMa binary with a high degree of overcontact configuration and V 842 Her is a typical W-type W UMa with a dark spot 25% cooler than its surrounding photosphere on the surface of the more massive component of the system. Furthermore, the evolutionary status of each eclipsing binaries were determined with the guide of the derived physical parameters. 2004, 61 pages Key Words: Eclipsing binary stars, Light curve analysis, V776 Cas, V842 Her
