dc.description.abstractIn this study, 223 towels, which have been embroidered with the traditional Turkish embroidery technicals and have original qualities have been found in the Museum of Aksaray, Ethnography Musem of Ankara, Museum of Professional Education Faculty of Gazi University, Museum of Çankırı, Museum of Kayseri, Ethnography Museum of Konya, Museum of Nevşehir, Museum of Niğde and Museum of Yozgat are taken a place into the internal region of Anatolia have been taken into this research. In the scope of the research, the art of embroidery, the place of towels in the embroidery art, historical development have been investigated in the museums and the determined towels have been taken photograph in general and detail, according to the prepared knowledge form, the used weaving in the towels; the knitting of weave, dimension, the density of warp and weft, kind of fiber, the features of design and colour, the applied embroidery on the towels; material, technical, colour, motif and composition features and also the borders of towels embroidery; material, technical, colour, motif and composition peculiarities have been determined. dc.description.ozetBu çalışmada, İç Anadolu bölgesinde yer alan Aksaray Müzesi, Ankara Etnografya Müzesi, Ankara Gazi Üniversitesi Mesleki Eğitim Fakültesi Müzesi, Çankırı Müzesi, Kayseri Müzesi, Konya Etnografya Müzesi, Nevşehir Müzesi, Niğde Müzesi ve Yozgat Müzesinde teşhir edilen yada depoda koruma altına alman geleneksel Türk işleme teknikleri ile işlenmiş özgün niteliklere sahip 223 adet peşkir araştırma kapsamına alınmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında; işleme sanatı, işleme sanatında peşkirlerin yeri, tarihsel gelişimi incelenmiş müzeler de tespit edilen özgün peşkirlerin genel ve detay olmak üzere fotoğrafları çekilmiş, hazırlanan bilgi formu doğrultusunda ise peşkirlerde kullanılan dokumaların; dokuma örgüsü, boyutu, çözgü ve atkı sıklığı, lif cinsi, desen ve renk özellikleri, peşkirlere uygulanan işlemelerin; gereç, teknik, renk, motif ve kompozisyon özellikleri, peşkirlerin kenar süslemelerinin ise; gereç, teknik, renk, motif ve kompozisyon özellikleri tespit edilmiştir.
