Vesiküler-arbüsküler mycorrhiza'nın asit ve alkalin topraklarda yetiştirilen mısır bitkisinde fosfor alımına etkisi
Özet
This study was caried out to determine the effects of VA Mycorrhiza on P uptake by maize plants grown in alkaline and acid soils. For this purpose, maize plants was grown in sterilized soils under greenhouse conditions. Before seed sowing, 100 ng N g"1 (as urea) and 40 ng K g"1 (as K2S04) were applied as solutions to the soils. To the pots that P to be applied, 40 ug P g'1 was added as powder (as TSP). And to the pots that VA Mycorrhiza to be applied, a mixture of Glomus etunicatum and Glomus intraradices was mixed to the soil. Shoot dry weight of maize plants was increased by VA Mycorrhiza and P application in both soils with respect to the control. VA Mycorrhiza and P applications had no effects on root dry weight in acid soil, but VA Mycorrhiza application increased the root dry weight in alkaline soil. While the P contents of shoot didn't change with VA Mycorrhiza application as compared to the control in alkaline soil, but in acid soil it was increased. The highest shoot P contents was reached by P application in both soils. As compared to the control, application of VA MycorrhizaIV decreased root P contents in alkaline soil, but increased in acid soil. The phosphorus application increased P contents of root in both soils. Zinc contents of shoot increased with VA Mycorrhiza application, but decreased with P application in both soils. With respect to the control, increasing in Zn contents of shoot grown in alkaline soil was much more than that of acid soil. Root Zn contents decreased with VA Mycorrhiza application in both soils. The effects of VA Mycorrhiza and/or P applications on the Fe contents of plant shoot grown in both soils were not found to be significant In both soils, Cu and Mn contents of shoot and root were much effected by VA Mycorrhiza application and while shoot Cu and Mn contents increased, root Cu and Mn contents decreased with VA Mycorrhiza. KEY WORDS: VA Mycorrhiza (Glomus etunicatum, Glomus Intraradices), maize, shoot and root growth, P, Zn, Fe, Cu, Mn contents
